Short Story

For L/L writing we have to write a short story and we can choose different type of problematics one was the one I choose: a bad relationship between a mother and a daugther and the other one: a problem of social classes.

A trouble in Manchester

It was a beautiful day in Manchester, and as usual in that family, there was one son and one mother, the relationship between them was "a bit" complicated because they hated each other.

This mom was called Sarah; she was an unbearable woman that didn't want to let her son be free so he made life impossible to him. Sarah didn't have friends, Sarah and her son lived in Manchester, England. Her son was called Sam and he was intelligent boy. That wanted to be with his friends and his mom didn't want to, but he escaped all the time to be with his friends. Sam was not as educated as his friends, but one day this would change because there was something that Sam didn't know. There was something related with

why he didn't know who his father was.

One day Sam and Sarah met in the house and they started shouting, they looked crazy.

“Hello Sam” Sarah said.
“I am not going to talk with a woman that is bad for me” Sam exclaimed.
“Why are you treating me badly; I only say you hello you see you are a stupid” She answered.
“I will not talk to you because you generate this atmosphere, I hate you. I will not talk to you today”
“Well, we stay like that, bye” She added.

A day as any day, Sam was thinking about his father and he had a doubt, and he asked his mom. She got nervous, and changed the point of the conversation.

“Hello mom I don’t want to fight, I have a doubt” Sam said.
“Hi Sam, What do you want?” She asked.
“I have a doubt about my father, what type of man was he?” He asked
“Well, your father was very self confident and…” She answered very uncomfortable.
“Tell me all please” I want to know all about  my family" he insisted.
" It´s a lot for today Sam, go to your bedroom" She finished the conversation.

A new day was in Manchester and, Sam was more curious about his father, and he did not think that his mother won´t answer his questions . But he would ask again and his mother will reveal something.

"Hi mom, today I want to know about my father please, tell me, which kind of man was he?" he interrogated.
"Today I am feeling bad but we will speak another day. don´t bother me" Sarah answered.
" But mom it´s necessary for my life to know my ancestors!" he exclaimed.
"No,no,no, you are an adopted child, I don´t love you, go out of my house" She says crying.
"You are a stupid woman that never, told me the truth, I hate you, bye I will never see me anymore, I will go to my real house.

One day Sam was with his real family, seeind a mom and a
son arguing, and he told the stroy about him and they stopped fighting. Sam now was very happy and all lived in peace except for Sarah.

My soliloquy

Here is a soliloquy that we write in the class of Victoria Gregov.
Ohh look at those colours, that could be my idea for my poem, those dappled colours, it is so amazing, fantastic atmosphere, it is like seeing a drawing of a child, much colour that from 10000 km up I can see the colours, it is like a mess of a child with colours. It is like going on the route and looking to your left and you see those flowers with different types of fruits, exactly plants that generate an effect that you can not believe, I really praise God from all these beautiful things that God created for us. My father will be impressed by that cow that has brown and white, my father really loved when two colours are in one object, he said it generated him an opposite, now that I think that my father is so creative that we could say he is crazy. I really wish that my father could give a really intelligent idea. Now that I see all those pied colours, dappled objects, I am inspired and I only have to finish the main idea, ohh look at that bird, I had one like that, he was so naughty that I never saw him again, but I really loved it, he was my favourite pet, he is a Toucan it is the most smart animal in the world, it has dappled colours, with orange in the peak and black with others colours on his body. Also the flowers are one of the most wonderful objects. With all those visual images I have seen I will write my poem.

Here is a Diary Entry that we did in the class of Vicky Gregov, about a poem called "A Different History" worked in Literature, By Sujata Bhatt.
 Date: 6\5

Name: Lautaro Barros
1st draft
 18 th March, 1965
Dear diary:
Today, in the morning some strange people came to our sacred lands, they came in giant boats with armies. I was so scared that I could not even see by the window, my father was as scared as me, some people went out to fight but others just stayed in their home to be protected. They said that they were British,They also said that after they colonized our lands they were not going to move. At midday the war continued, but the situation was worse because more Indian were dead, the British continued killing people. This situation to India was strange, one day some people come to colonize us. We were used to growing our lands but now we are fighting, defending our lands.
25 th March, 1965
Dear diary:
Now the situation is practically the same that when this started but more Indians are dead.
13 th April, 1965
Dear diary:
Today the British took out all the family of their residence, and they took them to the central town of India, the British were trying to teach their language and culture, in my case I did not understand anything. Some families accepted that they had no chances to revert the situation, and others continued struggling, the British had the total control.
15 th April, 1965
The days had pass by, and the British continue trying to teach us, and we are fighting  to our independence. Today the father of a friend has been killed, because he did not want to learn their language and culture.
Bye, you are my only friend I can trust.

This Is a video about the British colonization,          please see it all is interesting!!
